I like this color palette. So very Autumn.

And, like others, I look forward to your small stories. I like hearing about the excursions with your son. Parenting is always a challenge, and I'm sure there have been challenges over the years, but he sounds like a delightful companion. I laughed at the "Granpa" comment.

I love that your sketchbook pages, too, are 'boxes full of randomness'— they way you create little layouts from a load of things, related or semi-related— in color, shape, subject, or aspect. They look fun to make and satisfying to complete. The idea of a box of chaos appeals— I may follow your lead on that!
