Where do I start Cathy ! The book pages art are all quite beautiful .. and I am enraptured by your even smaller stories. They conjure up visuals in my mind as I read them . There is a feeling of stream of consciousness about them that I like very much . Thanks for being my Sunday good morning read !
Same book…my version is “same video”. A friend of mine bought me the exact same video of “Pride and Prejudice” twice. The first time she advised me to be careful not to watch it too much. Then along comes the second copy!
Three potatoes later… I had to read that twice, so witty!
A very big "Lovely!" to the stories - especially the Angry Toothbrush Man and, oh, the Over And Over Book Lady.
And a very big "Hell's bells, YES!" in answer to your worrying about people reading/liking these Notes. They're my midweek highlight. I read them with a cup of tea and a biscuit before breakfast on Wednesdays when my husband is off at his Tai chi lesson. I look forward to them so much and they never disappoint 😁
Love your work Cathy. The embroidery work in progress is especially beautiful without colour… love the black thread and your writing here too is so very human. Speaking to me so clearly as another person, in bite size pieces. ❤️
Love the book page artwork, colours are gorgeous 😍
Thank you Sigrun, much appreciated. Have a good week ahead.

Yes, rusty horse chestnut trees in wet fall! I have seen those too. Enjoyed this.

“ Lightning” is especially wonderful, poetic. Hooray for a zine full of ghosts!
