Don't you just hate it when you waste calories on a disappointing sweet? Or any dish, for that matter? My late husband would sometimes leave half of his food on the plate when we went out to dinner if something didn't suit him. Me? I always ate everything even if I didn't like it because I couldn't stand wasting the money. So, I got fat and he stayed slender. Apparently, there's a lesson here that I missed.

I understand Marilee, I tried so hard to enjoy what should have been a simple pleasure - knowing I hate waste. Bland cake is a small concern in a seriously wonky world, but I am peeved by the lack of good cake in cafes and coffee shops…. Have a good week

I used to live in an area where you’d be afraid if England lost. You lent really want to go out of doors. I often find myself haunted my cakes, it’s rude, that many calories should taste nice
