Those pesky pixies! I might have known. I do hope you encounter a gentle aging hippy as I don’t think I see many these days. Thanks always for reading and for leaving a comment that makes me laugh x
I’m in love with that blue bottle in the first picture, I can’t stop looking at it! I’ve been enjoying your little squares of patchwork too, I hope to see them joined one day?
Although in reality I am always reading your lovely warm human posts, they nevertheless feel to me to be a two way conversation as I wander through the scenes you create for me in my mind
Another beautiful post. I love the patchwork as well as your paintings and the stories, too. A treat on Sunday mornings which I always look forward to.
Your little quilt pieces are beautiful, there is a special beauty in the mix of fabrics and shapes which shimmers in a way that perfectly plotted things just don't. I love the peace in your Sunday notes. They help me feel calm in the chaos and I feel inspired to take a slower approach to my own jostling crowd of project ideas!❤️🔥as a fellow attic-dweller my thoughts are with you at this boiling hot time!
A beautiful post and I especially love the tiny pieces of quilt. I too have the Hitchens book, and sadly was unable to see the exhibition, and it is so lovely.
No, no it’s midsummer and the pixies are terribly notorious for hiding Huxley. Huxley and scissors. I hope an aging hippie offers me a feather today!

Oh you’re not hanging in the right spots - plenty of aging hippies in Glastonbury!
I appreciate the lack of world events here. I crave spaces free from the chaos. Your posts are soothing and excite my imagination.
Thank you Anne, I appreciate your understanding and hope others feel the same.
Thank you, Cathy. Your space is a comfort and oasis away from the things of man.
Thank you Hazel, always much appreciated!

Thank you Jess - oh yes my stitching will continue and I will spend time in July putting the squares together
I swear we have one of those mysterious librarians in my house, moving things around! Lovely works as always, Cathy.💕
Thank you Sheila! I like to think the mysterious librarians are very well read!

Thank you for such a kind and thoughtful comment Douglas
I’m imagining Marjorie
taking a little break from sewing. 🧵
Thank you Deborah, I think she’s enjoying some peace and quiet - from herself!
Thank you Cathy ✨️
Thank you always for reading Helen

Your little patchworks are so sweet. I especially enjoyed your experiences living in an attic space...sounds perfectly perfect to me...
Adore your work. Enjoy your coffee(s).
