Dear Cathy, I so enjoy reading your newsletters, I almost feel like I am in some of the scenes that you speak of (gardens, family, relatives, etc). I like reading your descriptions of "still lifes" as I have always been insecure or scared to try. I have always worked small like you, I love small things! I must have missed last weeks newsletter or I would have pursued the event you mentioned, I will go back and look after this - I cherish the few paintings I have of yours! Do any of your readers ever share ideas how they display your tiny treasures? I've been giving it much thought lately. I just wanted to share with you that my mother passed away 35 years ago of Alzheimer's so last weekend Mother's Day was a little hard. Thanks for doing what you do, I appreciate it. Take care, -gwen kading

Thank you Gwen for your thoughtful comment. Mother's Day can be hard, I understand.

Yes, some people do email me photos of how they display their tiny paintings - and thank you for reminding me about this as I had thought of putting a post together with some ideas. Much appreciated always!

Cathy, that would be so nice if sometime you could put a post together of ideas for displaying tiny paintings or postcards. I would so appreciate that. Have fun with your upcoming sketchbook weekend!
