Also I had to laugh about your post box musings--they changed the box on our corner from 430pm to 9am and I just cannot get over my annoyance/out-of-sorts-ness about it! How funny you would suffer the same fate across the ocean.
This post was a perfect piece of writing to wake up to ! In Canada it’s 6 am and I’m having my perfect mug of coffee while wedged between my dog and cat on the couch . Paying attention to my environment has become a new practise for me . It’s easy to hear my roosters making a racket outside but the delicate notes and conversation of the birds is a new delight . They are plentiful this year. Observing and using all my senses I have a new appreciation for this natural world around me ! I am thinking it helps me make art with a new set of eyes . Your sketchbook pages are gorgeous and your post as always - a delight ! Looking forward to the sketchbook weekend too
