Ohhhhh! What a most beautiful post Cathy. Your small landscapes book is a total delight, and what a lovely project for every month.
So sorry to hear about your printer issues, and thank you so much for so generously sharing your poems here...I enjoyed all three. If pushed, it would be difficult to choose a favourite, but Foxes....by a whisker!
The yellow roses are incredibly beautiful, and Crow looks rightfully proud to have them in his vessel.
Poetry Salon is a great name....sooo much more poetic than workshop. I am looking forward to the monthly emails. I might even find myself joining in!
Thank you for sharing Cathy. I hope you and your loved ones have a lovely week.
Thank you Helen! I ham very grateful to you for thoughtfulness and taking the time to leave such an encouraging comment. Please join in with the poetry salon if you feel you would like to. I am looking forward to seeing how it goes x
Cathy, I've been following your work and getting your newsletters for a good while now, and I just need to tell you how much you inspire my creativity. I love your folksy style and always look forward to seeing your weekly paintings and drawings! You shared sooooo many great ideas in this post/newsletter and I just wanted to say thank you for that. Our creative community is so encouraging and generous, and you're a wonderful example. Much love to you!
Oh Cathy, yes, this post is a delight for me too. Your poetic world really resonates with me, and your dedication to your work is an inspiration to me. So I’ve decided to subscribe—you’ll be my dose of creative energy. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Have a wonderful Sunday as the cooler weather returns.
I'm up very early this Sunday morning, drinking my quiet coffee and reading your lovely post. Such a wonderful way to start my day. I am quite taken by your vase with yellow roses, they just pop off the page. And, of course your poems...I would agree with Helen that Foxes is also my favourite!
Your Landscapes: May 2026 book is full of beautiful and atmospheric images. I look forward to more of these and your sculptures, your color choices are just wonderful.
I always look forward to your newest notes to read first thing on Sunday, Cathy! Your postcards are amazing! I like the mix of figures in different mediums. 💕 Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Delia, I am working on a series of postcard books that will be available in my shop. The first one hopefully this week. I am keeping the landscape books for my reference (can’t have too many books!)
I love the physical overlapping of the papers, Cathy. Even the ones that have a sliver of space between them. Definitely something I would like to experiment with!
Thank you Penny, I appreciate your comment and am looking forward to seeing how my ideas vary over time. I am glad I chose to focus on a collage and more abstract way of seeing
