I really love when you move into these other mediums, Cathy. (Though I suppose you would say that you always have and always will!) Hope you feel better soon
Dear Cathy, sending you some love and hopes for better health now and in the future 💝wise counsel indeed about seeking help, something that has been on my mind lately too x I love the little flower faces!🌸🌺🌼
Ah, thank you!☺️✨🐰Hares breath is kind of my alter ego, I have a very unmagical and commonplace real surname and I use this one for my tarot reading and my art practice. It is in some way a tribute to my late mum as we had a mutual love of hares!✨
Thank you! And also hello☺️✨ I was toying with the idea of actually writing something on here only yesterday but nothing so far! X I love the poem you shared by Wendell Berry 💝
Oh no, sorry to hear you’ve been unwell. I hope you’re on the mend soonest and ready to cause trouble again! Primary Healthcare is so bad at the moment it’s hard to know when you’re ‘allowed’ to demand an appointment!
Thank you! The scariest moments recently have been when, twice, the dr has phoned me to talk. After the hassle of getting heard and then waiting for appointments etc.. you can imagine! Fortunately, both calls were not too terrible. I appreciate your kindness and hope you are well x
Take special care of yourself. It's hard to prioritize our health over everything, and I'm journeying through the same lessons.
The small raised embroidery piece is lovely, as well as the flower in the summertime pencil drawing. I love your short stories and hope you'll share more soon.
Dear Cathy, I'm always in awe of the amount and variety of work you create - and the beauty of it. You have such a poetic soul. I hope you will heal speedily as you rest.
Glad you are addressing any health issues that crop up. Never ignore the hints tapping at your consciousness. Or as the sign said in the newsroom where I worked: "Never assume. It makes an ass out of you and me."
Dear Cathy, I have always, enjoyed your work. I have a very few pieces, and one that I particularly love is/was a small painting of a soft bedroom with a single window to the garden and a pink coverlet on a single bed. Very sad to say that it disappeared. I remember it well. Love always from Iowa and my garden, Betsy
Please do take good care! Your cautionary warning about not ignoring what our own bodies tell us is well taken. Hoping cooler and gentler days are ahead for all of us. 💚

Nancy; I just have to say that I love your last name. It conjures up all kinds of sweet images. Is there a history behind it?

Oh, I love that thinking. Well, I signed up to follow you, just because I loved your name.

I am sorry to hear about the missing artwork and am trying to remember it exactly. About what size was it? Thanks for your kind comment
